🚀 StarShip42 Closure Announcement

Hello Citizens,

I built StarShip42.com in 2016 as a small hobby project — a way to explore, compare, and dream about the incredible ships of Star Citizen. What began as a late-night experiment grew far beyond anything I expected, thanks to the amazing passion and creativity of this community.

After many years, updates, and friendships, I believe it’s time to close this chapter. Life has taken me in several wonderful directions, and I no longer have the time or energy to maintain the site at the standard it deserves. StarShip42 will remain online for reference until 22nd October 2025, after which it will be retired permanently.

To every fan, creator, and pilot who visited, shared feedback, or used the site to plan their next adventure — thank you. Your support and enthusiasm kept this project alive far longer than I ever imagined.

A special thanks to the talented teams at Cloud Imperium Games for building such a vast and inspiring universe — one that encouraged so many of us to create, imagine, and share.

But this isn’t goodbye — I’ll still be flying out there among the stars, as I originally envisaged. One day, StarShip42 may return in another form.
